Discovery Corner Academy (DCA), a ministry of First United Methodist Church, offers children and their families the opportunity to experience Christ's love in a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment, while exploring the magnificent world God has created. DCA started as a "mom's" group in 1990 at First United Methodist Church and continues as a ministry to this day. Our aim is to create a setting where children are given the resources to reach their academic objectives, intertwined with character development, spiritual growth, and the use of their God-given gifts, talents, and learning styles. For more than 30 years, DCA has been a staple for families in downtown Lancaster. We welcome children from the age of 2 years and 6 months up to 6 years old.
